The Asian College team conducted an outreach program distributing COVID-19 health kits and turned over the additional walkie-talkie radio to its partner, Barangay Taclobo, in Dumaguete City.
To recall, the institution donated two walkie-radios a couple of years ago to the Barangay. The radio was received by the Honorable Roger Estorco Bohol, the Barangay Captain. The event was headed by the College of Computer Studies and Engineering (CCSE) officers and assisted by Mr. Ruel M. Luzana, the program chair for the College of Business Administration, and Ms. Melody C. Prado, the Campus Administrator. With them are the coordinators from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the College of Business Accountancy, Mr. Karl Marx S. Pascobello and Ms. Julam P. Colina, who helped in distributing the health kits.
Mr. Danilo Balino, liaison officer of Barangay Taclobo and in charge of Purok Cacao, assisted the AC team in visiting houses and distributing the kits in the area. Meanwhile, an enrollment tarpaulin was also posted at the Barangay Hall for additional marketing visuals.
By the end of the activity, Brgy. Captain Bohol issued a certificate of appreciation to everyone for their valuable participation in the program. This event wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of everyone and the contribution of ideas to make this a successful one.
