The Asian College, Dumaguete Campus proudly resumes its face-to-face commencement exercises and graduation ceremony after two years of a pause due to the pandemic. Celebrating with the theme: “Strive. Flourish. Succeed: The Role of Education in the 21st Century.” This is as per approval from the LGU-IATF and the Department of Education.

The event was made possible with the help of the ever-supportive Asian College Administration, spearheaded by the school registrar, Ms. Jenissa Retorbar, the faculty of the Senior High School and the College department, including the staff who prepared an extravagant ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2022.

There were three ceremonies held on the day, the commencement exercises for college in the morning and two batches for the graduation ceremony for the senior high school, Academic Track and TVL Track in the afternoon. The event were also attended by the school officials, Mr. James Christopher K. Layag, the Vice President of Operations and Management, Ms. Lydia P. Amada, the Controller, Ms. Melody C. Prado, the Campus Administrator, alongside the consultants Atty. Edmund F. Dy, the Legal Consultant, and Mrs. Dorothy S. Dy, the Management Consultant. The program chairs of each college department and the Senior High School Principal were also present on the said event, Ms. Marte M. Dagpin, Mr. Ruel Luzana, Ms. Ann Adheil Pacudan, Ms. Isabelita Panday, and Mr. Jansen A. Mueco.

The institution also invited three respective guest speakers who are individually well-accomplished in their fields to impart an encouraging and uplifting discussion to the graduates as they open another chapter of their lives.

Indeed, it was a memorable moment for Batch 2022, especially as they received their diplomas as proof that they have made it through. The years of hardships and trials amidst the pandemic were all worth it.
