Asian College is certainly back on track as they celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, competitiveness, talent and creativity, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork as they kick off the PADULA 2023.

It was a week-long celebration of sports represented by the different colleges and department of Asian College. Bringing people together and creating a sense of community. It’s not just about winning or losing; it’s about the journey, the friendships, and the memories that are made along the way. Witnessing various skills, talents and determination of the best and brightest in showcasing and demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in their chosen sport.

Waving their yellow and gold flag is the College of Business Administration and Accountancy which often associated with wealth, prosperity, and success, which are all values that are relevant to the field of business. These colors may also represent innovation, creativity, and a forward-thinking attitude, which are essential qualities for business professionals.

The merging of the two programs created this purple flag is the College of Computer Studies and Engineering. This is associated with energy, passion, and innovation, which are all qualities that are relevant to the field of computer science. It may also symbolize power, speed, and efficiency, which are essential characteristics of modern computing technology.

Here goes the red flag from the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management. It sure evoke a range of emotions and meanings as red is seen as a symbol of good luck, passion, energy, and excitement. They aim to attract, engage and convey a sense of warmth, luxury, and vibrancy that is associated with travel and leisure.

Last but not the least is the Senior High School Department. Representing the Grade 11 is their blue flag. This is often associated with intelligence, wisdom, and stability, which are qualities that are highly valued in higher education. It is a calming color, which can help promote focus and concentration during the often stressful and intense period of high school. Blue is also known to evoke feelings of trust, responsibility, and professionalism, which are all important qualities for students as they prepare for college or careers.

Another color representing the Grade 12 is the gray flag. It is often seen as a more mature and serious color compared to brighter, more vibrant colors. As students progress through high school, they are expected to take on more responsibilities and act more maturely, which may be reflected in the choice of a more subdued color like gray.

The PADULA had the following event and games namely the Cheerdance Competition, Mobile Legends, Dota2, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Chess, Scrabble, Tug of War, and Mr. Padula 2023.

Ranking as the overall champion is the College of Business Administration and Accountancy, followed by the College of Computer Studies and Engineering. Entering the top three is the Senior High School – Grade 12. Placing in the fourth is the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and the Senior High School – Grade 11 in the fifth.

This event is a testament to the institution’s commitment not just towards academic excellence but upholding the spirit of the sport, and competing in a way that shows integrity, character, and a commitment to fairness and mutual respect.
