Modular Courses

Tech-Voc courses designed to prepare students to be technically competent, innovative and creative in a specific trade to become skilled Filipino worker. It comprises of basic, common and core competencies of a course. It directly develops knowledge, skills and expertise in a specific trade as they need to perform tasks in a particular area in accordance with industry standards. Modular courses crafted based on TESDA training regulations. Mandatory assessment upon completion of Tech-voc courses, students are required to take the National Certification Examination to assess competency level of students. After passing the mandatory exam, students will receive Asian College certificate of completion, transcript of records and diploma.

BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION NC II

Nominal Duration: 141 hours
  • The BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION NC II Qualification consists of competencies that person must achieve to be able to clean equipment , tools and utensils and prepare, portion and plate pastries, breads and other dessert items to guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts and luxury lines/cruises and other related operations.
  • This course is designed to enhance learners, knowledge, skills and attitude in bread and party production. Equip students to become competent in core areas such as prepare and present desserts, bakery products, gateaux, tortes and cakes, prepare and display petit fours in accordance with industry standards.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II

Nominal Duration: 356 hours
  • The FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities.
  • This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes in Food and Beverage Services NC II in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies required in the NC II level in the delivery of food and beverage service in various foodservice facilities. It covers the core competencies on preparing the dining room for service, welcoming and taking food and beverage orders, providing food and beverage service to guests, providing room service, and receiving and handling guest concerns.

COOKERY NC II

Nominal Duration: 316 hours
  • The COOKERY NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to clean kitchen areas, prepare hot, cold meals and desserts for guests in various food and beverage service facilities.
  • This program is designed to equip learners with required basic, common and core competencies in cookery. Provide wide range and knowledge in preparation of different kinds of cuisines, includes skills and mastery in hot and cold kitchen preparations, total quality costumer services, hygiene, safety and workplace procedure.

HOUSEKEEPING NC II

Nominal Duration: 436 hours
  • The HOUSEKEEPING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare guest rooms, clean premises and equipment, laundry linen and guest clothes, provide housekeeping services and provide valet services to hotels, motels, clubs, hospitals, resorts, dormitories and luxury liners.
  • This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude in Housekeeping specifically it covers, to provide housekeeping services to guest, prepare room for guest, clean premises, provide valet service , launder linen and guest clothes.

FRONT OFFICE SERVICES NC II

Nominal Duration: 436 hours
  • The FRONT OFFICE SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must possess in order to be able to conduct the process of making a reservation, registering and checking-in and checking-out a guest in commercial accommodation establishments.
  • This course covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes in Front Office services NC II in accordance with Enterprise standards. It covers basic, common and specialized (core) competencies such as receive and process reservations, operate computerized reservation system, Provide accommodation reception services, conduct night audit, provide club reception services, and provide porter services.

BARTENDING NC II

Nominal Duration: 286 hours
  • The BARTENDING NC ll Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to operate a bar, prepare and mix cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions and provide basic wine service to guests in all food and beverage service providers except for “Specialty Coffee Shops”.
  • This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of a bartender/barista in cleaning bar areas, operating bar, preparing and mixing cocktails in accordance with industry standards.  It covers the basic, common and core competencies.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NCII

Nominal Duration: 280 hours
  • This course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes of a Computer Systems Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks. A trainee who has achieved this qualification is competent to be a Computer assembler, Computer service technician, Network technician and Computer maintenance technician.

ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS ASSEMBLY AND SERVICING NCII

Nominal Duration: 260 hours
  • This course is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes of an Electronic Products Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as assembling electronic products, preparing PCB modules and installing and servicing consumer and industrial electronic products and systems.

TRAINER METHODOLOGY (TM1)

Nominal Duration: 264 hours
  • This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, positive attitude and work values of the learners in accordance with the prevailing standards in the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.  This encompasses competencies required of the Technical-Vocational Trainer to perform the tasks in the areas of instructional delivery/facilitation, competency assessment and maintenance of training resources/facilities.
  • Trainees must achieve the following minimum requirements such as, college graduate of any course and must passed the National Certification according to his/her field of expertise.

BOOKKEEPING NC III

Nominal Duration: 292 hours
  • The BOOKKEEPING NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to do the following: journalizing and posting transactions, prepare trial balance, financial reports and review internal control system.
  • The courses design will teach students to enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes, develop and practice negotiation skills, Solve workplace problem related to work activities, use mathematical concepts, techniques and relevant technologies

ANIMATION NC II

Nominal Duration: 516 hours
  • The ANIMATION NC II – This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a trainee/student on core competencies such as; Produce Cleaned-up and In-betweened Drawings in accordance with the industry standards. It includes common competencies such as; Apply Quality Standards, Perform Computer Operations. It also includes basic competencies such as; Participate in Workplace Communication, Work in a Team Environment, Practice Career Professionalism and Practice Occupational Health and Safety Procedures.

2D ANIMATION NC III

Nominal Duration: 840 hours
  • The 2D ANIMATION NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to produce 2D animation, multimedia and special effects for film and television/video in both production and post-production stages.
  • A person who has achieved this course is competent to become Clean-Up Artist, In-between Artist, Clean-up Art Checker, In-between Checker, Animation Checker, Web Designer, Multimedia Artist, Library builder, Lay-out Artist and 2d digital animator
  • This Qualification is packaged from the competency map of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry

HEALTH CARE SERVICES NC II

  • The Health Care Services NC II qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare and maintain beds, collect and maintain linen stocks at the end-user locations, assist with patient mobility, assist in transporting patients, assist with bio-psychological support care of patients and handle waste in a health environment

JAVA NC III

  • This course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a programmer in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common, and core competencies on programming language specifically Java.

MICROSOFT.NET

  • This course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a programmer in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common, and core competencies on programming language specifically .net technology.

    • Adobe Premiere – a video production with comprehensive practical introduction in designing and developing video projects with Premiere Elements.

  • Designed to enhance learner’s basic knowledge into more advanced skills covering 2 programs that will prepare students to pass the national certification examination.
    • Adobe Photoshop – Students will learn how to design layout, photo edit and retouch, manipulate and compose images, use powerful layering and masking techniques and delve into a wealth of special effect filters. They will use the ultimate graphic software used by professional artist, designers and photographers.
    • CorelDraw is a feature-packed vector graphics suite which includes a large collection of fonts and clip art.  A full range of editing tools allows the user to produce illustrations of just about any description via the ability to edit any shape or character with ease and precision, generate text both in paragraph or headline style, fit text to curves and objects and add special effects. This training is designed to enable new users to start using Coreldraw’s extensive editing tools to work with text and precision drawing features quickly and easily.
